Robin Kaufmann becomes Co-CEO of LogObject

LogObject AG is initiating the generational transition it has long planned: effective 1 September 2026, Robin Kaufmann takes on the role of Co-CEO and will lead the Swiss family-owned company together with founder and CEO Roberto Rossi during a four-year transition phase. LogObject continues to invest in product innovation and artificial intelligence and is expanding its portfolio of competencies through acquisitions.

With Robin Kaufmann taking office, LogObject AG, founded in 1998, enters its next corporate phase. LogObject produces specialised software solutions for public authorities, emergency services, security-critical organisations and private-sector companies. Around 270 employees develop and support solutions for the planning, dispatching and control of complex processes. With this clearly regulated succession, LogObject creates clarity about the company’s future leadership and secures the continuity of its long-term direction.

“Our software is in use where people rely on it working every single day,” says Roberto Rossi. “For us, that responsibility also means settling the future of the company early and transparently. With Robin Kaufmann, we ensure continuity in the leadership and at the same time create room for new impetus.”

Focus on product innovation, AI and further growth with clear customer benefit

LogObject remains an independent Swiss family business. This entrepreneurial independence makes it possible to align decisions for the long term and to invest continuously in the further development of the products and in the employees. One focus of these investments lies on applications of artificial intelligence.

In its own AI lab, LogObject develops and tests new approaches that can be responsibly integrated into existing and future software solutions. The starting point is the concrete challenges our customers face in their day-to-day work. Alongside organic growth, LogObject is planning further acquisitions in order to open up additional competencies.

Robin Kaufmann on his new role: “I am looking forward to shaping the next phase of LogObject together with Roberto Rossi, our employees, business partners and customers. We want to continue reliably what has proven itself and at the same time remain open to new requirements, technologies and approaches to solutions – always with a view to the long-term benefit for our customers.”

Robin Kaufmann completed his M.A. HSG in Quantitative Economics and Finance at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). He subsequently worked in the trading division of a major Swiss bank, at Progressive Capital Partners and at GVO Advisory Management. In these roles he gained sound experience in private company investments and financial management.

We look forward to continuing LogObject’s successful development together with Robin Kaufmann and, over the next four years, laying the foundations for a responsible generational transition within our family-owned company.
